The latest record by Kush Arora can be hardly characterized as one style stream. In Boiling Over one can hear elements of dancehall, dubstep, reggae, dub, ethnic motives of Jamaica and India are also present. The release's format left still incomprehensible - whether it is an EP or a mini album, and if we take into account that a rather big number of people worked at this release, then maybe it is a compilation. But in fact it is not important, the main is that music must be good. And perhaps I can't say it about Boiling Over. No, it isn't a defective good, technically everything is very well, as to my mind. The musician skillfully gathered the above-mentioned diversity of styles together. Though, it seems to me that on this record there is no wholeness of that what is happening. But in separate some compositions make a good impression. Memorable were the title "Boiling Over", "Constructing The Absence" and "SF Shuffle Riddim". These tracks will be suitable for some dancing party, though it's clear that they won't do for serious contemplation.I'd like to say more but this record doesn't give food for thoughts, it turned out to be too cool, it will hardly catch the fans of experimental music, but it will fit well as Dj's material.
